What to expect during your first session?

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and understand what has brought you to therapy. We will discuss your current concerns, relevant experiences, and what you would like to achieve through therapy. If you are a child or adolescent, the beginning of the session includes parent/s to get their perspective of what brings you to therapy and their goals for you. Then we will talk one-on-one to get to know one another and help build rapport.
Do you accept insurance?

At this moment, Dr. Moreno does not accept insurance. However, you can receive a superbill to submit to your insurance company. She is considered as an out-of-network provider. Please contact your insurance to assess whether or not you have out of network benefits, and if you can receive any reimbursement for your services at Elevated Therapy.
What are your fees and do you offer a sliding scale or discounted rates?

Fees are $255 for a 55 minute session. Testing fees vary by type of assessment. We do offer a sliding scale fund, Therapy for All Fund. Please inquire with Dr. Moreno.
What is your cancellation policy?

If for some reason you need to cancel or reschedule, please let Dr. Moreno know 24 hours in advance, or there is a cancellation fee for the full charge of your session. If your cancellation is due to a true emergency, we can discuss further.
